In the summer of 2021, HMD Global, the maker of Nokia phones, unveiled its first rugged smartphone, the Nokia XR20.
Task
To promote the durable new Nokia XR20, highlighting the model’s key features, emphasising the Finnish origins of the brand and increasing interest in Nokia phones in general.
Results
During the month that this promotion was active, we saw more than 200,000 reach on our Facebook and Instagram posts, more than 1,200 comments or shares, and 1,000 new fans of the Nokia Mobile CZ/SK Facebook page. To increase interaction, we opted for comparison posts, where fans voted on which photo was taken in our country and which was taken in the Nordic countries. In addition, we supported the activity with a weekly contest, during which we asked fans about key features of the news.
