In September 2022, HMD Global, the maker of Nokia phones, unveiled its most eco-friendly portfolio of phones to date and the Circular service for renting Nokia devices.

Task

To introduce the new Nokia X30 5G and Nokia G60 5G phones to journalists and the general public (CZ/SK), to ensure journalists’ presence at the global event, press releases and accompanying events in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Results

Already one minute after the official launch, we registered more than 10 published articles and first impressions of the new devices based on pre-briefing of selected media. We personally accompanied the journalists to the global event in Berlin and subsequently to the HMD Global stand at the exhibition grounds. To celebrate the launch of sales in our markets, we subsequently held two meetings with journalists in Prague and Bratislava, where we gave editors a detailed presentation not only of the products, but also of the brand’s new and eco-friendly approach. During the two months that we ran this project, we secured more than 70 outlets including the largest national media such as Právo, Novinky.cz, iDnes and Metro magazine.
